The Third Annual Parma Peanut Butter Drive will launch at an event in the new Parma Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, 6996 Powers Boulevard, Parma, Ohio 44129, at 5:00, Monday, December 2nd, 2013.
Parma Peanut Butter Drive sponsor, Parma City Council President Sean Brenan, and honored guests, will gather to officially start the annual collection of peanut butter in support of All Faiths Pantry, a local 501(c)3 charity. All Faiths Pantry delivers free monthly groceries to Parma area seniors and other low mobility individuals. Jars of peanut butter are collected during December at the Parma libraries, Parma Community Hospital, Parma City Hall and in the Shoppes at Parma, at the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce.
Financial donations enable All Faiths Pantry to purchase food such as peanut butter at wholesale prices.
