All Faiths Pantry delivering to families in need

PARMA, Ohio — Like all charities and businesses, the All Faiths Pantry in Parma is adapting to keep its workers and the people they help safe.

Before the coronavirus pandemic, the pantry would distribute food in the common areas of housing projects, among other areas. Now, it is delivering food directly to the people it helps—the elderly and those with mobility issues.

The pantry serves about 350 low-income households, and according to executive director Felicia Martinez, about 75 new requests for deliveries have come in from people who can’t leave the house to get their groceries.

The pantry is in need of donations and volunteers. Click this link if you’d like to help.
